Our Organization

DataEra IT Association is dedicated to connecting local high-tech professionals with young people. The purpose of this organization is to create an educational environment for the public. We shape and accelerate a shared vision of the future for our communities to providehands-on learning courses, workshops, and networking for young people. Our members include instructors, young volunteers. We are actively working on Cybersecurity Laboratory that provides a friendly and industrial environmentfor early education on computer hardware setup, Robotics, Web / Mobile / Game development and artificial intelligence. We organize meetups to team up Special Matter Experts and youth.

We are currently providing a series of computer training programs on learning JavaScript programming, Web design, and web-based game design in Ivy Education Group. We provide workshop service and IT career consulting to juniors. We are preparing a pilot project for robotics programming course.

DataEra IT Association is considering a project to provide hands-on learning experiences and environment to young people on robotics science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Our instructors design step-by-step tutorials and interactive workshops helping children learn the latest technologies supporting by local professional volunteers. Our laboratory includes Ez-robot, Lego mindstorms with vision capabilities, speech recognition, animations, and Artificial Intelligence using Blockly, RoboScratch, .NET programming languages.

This project will help children and youth gain the corresponding experiment and knowledge in the progressive development industries and inspire them specializing in their careers. Moreover, it will help to establish the robotics academic environment in Alberta.
